thanks so much for your help :) @lightchick these are my first silkies so the breed is still pretty foreign to me. I ordered them as blue silkies with a few other birds and the other birds have turned out to be different then what I ordered, so you might be very right about the partridge silkie...
I know its hard to tell with this breed, but taking guesses :) .... I have 2 , they do have different looks going on, but I think their blue silkie mix's, so I don't know if its just because their mix or if their a hen and roo ??? thanks for the help.... until an egg is or isn't laid :)

hello:) mine seem to venture further and further everyday, even compared to last year. their at about 3 or 4 acres from the coop now. theres a alot of tree coverage though and they follow the ducks off.

ok good to know! I didn't know wetness could contribute to coccidiosis. sometimes the duckling get into the chick brooder and make a mess with the water, that has to be cleaned out daily..... they all came form the same place and have been in things next to each other at night , then together...
