thanks for your help @Griffinsong and @smarsh ....roosters are pretty foreign to me, my coop is full of girls. I decided to add some new breeds this spring and just went from no roosters to 2.

Thanks everyone for your quick help ! today will be day 2 on the corid and i didnt notice any bloody poop so far this morning, so i think its going well. the ducks and chicks deff wernt to excited about being completely separated but they can re join in the coop eventually :) you learn...

hello:) mine seem to venture further and further everyday, even compared to last year. their at about 3 or 4 acres from the coop now. theres a alot of tree coverage though and they follow the ducks off.

ok good to know! I didn't know wetness could contribute to coccidiosis. sometimes the duckling get into the chick brooder and make a mess with the water, that has to be cleaned out daily..... they all came form the same place and have been in things next to each other at night , then together...
