Another question! My chicken is making like yelling noises. She was doing it all day yesterday then stopped, now shes doing it again this morning. Is she hurt or is something wrong with her?

I have another question... My chickens are digging holes in the ground to lay in and roll in. Does this mean something? They already laid their eggs today, so does anyone know what this means? And, its only the two new chickens.

How long does it usually take chickens to establish the pecking order?

So, If we separate the mean chicken for a while, she'll be at the bottom of the pecking order?

Shes not bleeding anymore. But I have another random question. lol. If the mean chicken (Henny Penny) keeps chasing all the other chickens, should we separate Henny Penny from the rest or will that make a new pecking order? and if we don't separate her, is it okay to still lock them all up...

Do we need to wipe the blood off of her before we eventually let her back in the coop? Or will it just wear off? Shes very squirmy and I dont want to get pecked. lol. If the blood stays on, are they still going to peck at her?

I'm so sorry for all those pictures. lol. But how long should we wait until we put Hennifer back in the coop? How should we reintroduce Hennifer when shes better? And, Henny Penny is very mean, I know shes the top chicken, but she chases the other chickens around.

Heres Hennifer after what Henny Penny did. Shes inside in a cage now.

These two are the chickens or hens. The brown one is Henny Penny and the white one is Peep. Henny Penny is the one that pecked the crap out of Hennifer.

Heres the baby ones. I dont know why the black one (henry) isn't here. The black and white one is Hennifer, the brown and black one is Josh, and the brown and white one is Chicken Little. They're all about 3 months.

Thank you. The old one is a hen. We aren't sure what the new one is. We think its a rooster, but I'm not sure how to tell. They haven't grown their spurs. Is there any other way to tell if they are chickens or roosters?
