She has two siblings!
It definitely could be something - my brother took them outside and there was a lot of pollen plus I moved them to the laundry room and something in there could be bothering her. I'll move her out and see if she does better.
Hi!! I have a lavender chick that is hollering her head off unless she can see me but she doesn't do it all day. Just random times she'll start up again. I have recently noticed that she is sneezing a good bit - is she gonna be ok? She acts completely normal and is pretty active. Thank you!
sorry I just have always referred to them as chicks - thank you so much!! - and this morning after i gave them iced water and frozen treats - their crops were empty and no more throwing up!
Ranging from 1 year to 7 months.
I give them egg layer crumbles.
3 out of the 5 females and no males
Most of it is brown thick in some parts and runny in the others.
They behave normal, active, playful and this is kind of gross but when one chicken spits up they all run up and try and eat it...
Not that i know of - i did go away for a week on a trip and had someone care for them - maybe she just didn't give them enough feed? Didn't smell an odor but yes their crops were swollen since 7 that i know of. will they be ok?
It's awful! i went out to feed them and they all ran over to eat but when they started eating they all started to vomiting up brown liquid and they kept eating i fixed their water and they went to drink and threw up again! please help! i dont want them to die... oh and their crops are swollen...
So I noticed all my chickens will not come out from under the coop? It's like they are hiding?? It's been like this all day and it's been very windy and it thunder stormed last night. This one hen who is usually very active and friendly is now acting "depressed" she will drink and slowly eat...
Thank you soooooo much! It really means a lot to me! He actually perked up after some electrolytes and was trying to walk and wobbled but that's a start! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for helping me! He will lift it up but usually will rest it on the pillow that's there for his head. What kind of vitamins do you mean? He has been trying to stand more with the support of the wall. I'm not at home right now but I will as soon as i get back. This might sound...
Thank you for responding so quick! When I pick him up he flaps his wings normally and he will move them. He will drink and eat he just doesn't do it very often. Will he be okay?
