Broody hen won't take to chicks

Just a follow up: broody hen took to the surviving two chicks and has defended them against the others. When I went out to separate the mama to be from the babies and turn on the heat lamp the babies were chirping under her wings so I let it go. Thank you for your help.

Broody hen won't take to chicks

Will she get over it on her own? So sounds like I should take them to the brooder. How long do I give the hen before I put her in the gravel pen?

Yeah I’m pretty sure those two are cockerels too. The one in the background has a tail that is suspicious but a pale comb.

I’m sitting outside and I hear a scuffle so I look and see the pullet , which now I think cockerel, mounted the big EE trying to do her. My jump up scared him and he jumped off. So....is that a sure sign she’s a he?

Prevention / Cures for Tapeworm or any worms really

If you are using valbazen in a routine deworming schedule, when you get to eat the eggs? If you deworm 1 every 3 months you only get roughly 15 days of eggs a month. After the chickens go to bed can I start counting that towards my 24 hours?
