    Do turkey eggs become fertile only during the spring time? I have some young hens with a tom and I cought them matting several times. I did take about 9 eggs and set them in the incubater. Day 15 today with nothing showing upon candling them.

    How To Increase Egg Production?

    You may want to keep an eye out. I have an egg eater in the coop. I have 9 laying hens and was getting 7 to 9 eggs a day. Then I notice what seem to be yolks dried up on the eggs I was collecting. Soon I will catch the egg eater and will become a freezer hen

    None. Going to try again at a latter date. But I do have another question. Have 3 broody hens that want to sit on another lol the eggs but I take the eggs everyday. But my other chickens pick on these hens. What should I do??

    Ok got home and took a look. Did as you said. The egg came right off the membrane. I moisten the membrane up some and placed it back in the Bator. Looks like the chick is very strong. I guess my mistake somewhere down the process was the humidity was not high enough. Lesson learned
