Thank you!
and @ChickForLife I’ll post the results here once I have them all gathered and sorted out. The survey closes Monday and then I have to compile the data so it’ll be a week or two
It's just a survey. I will post all of the results when I have the data gathered. I thought it would be a fun project to collect data so we can all see how we compare. The results are definitely not what I expected!
I am a blogger and the distributor of the Columbus Aqua chickens nipples. But I am also a lifetime chicken owner and fanatic. I was just wanting to do a fun survey to get to know other chicken folks better :)
Hi all! I’m doing research on backyard chickens and the people that have them for a project, and would be incredibly grateful if you could complete a survey.
If you have a few extra minutes, here’s the link- https://forms.gle/2YZTjxaBPHh7uGFh6
I greatly appreciate it!
Thank you @casportpony :D
This was where I was getting hung up, I appreciate your answer!
I am a paramedic. I like the "give XYZ medication for ABC illness" lol
Thank you @casportpony, that is great!
I'm sorry if I was confusing in my post.
Let's say my bird has a respiratory illness. But I don't know specifically what the illness is.
Which medication should I start with and try first? If that doesn't work, which would be the second line choice?
Yes, those are mine, thank you so much for your order! I am so sorry I apparently have my notifications turned off and didn't see your comment.
I know this is a bit old, but did you install them? I have a project book that may help if not-

Hi All. I was hoping you could help me with a project I am working on.
I have been writing up some info about treating respiratory infections. I have found that they can either be fungal, bacterial or viral, and many share very similar symptoms. A definitive diagnosis would need a vet...
I understand that a higher watt heater won’t warm the water to a higher temperature. However if you live somewhere that gets -30 at night you’ll need a higher power heater than someone that barely dips below freezing. That’s all I was trying to share 😊
The chickens get plenty of water from them. Here is a video of some quail drinking from them, showing how much water actually does come out:
I've use the nipples for years with no issues and no one has died of dehydration :)
