    Feed inside coop or not??

I keep the chicken's feed hanging in a feeder inside the coop, and have 2 waters, one inside, and one outside. I will throw leftover salad and fruit out to them in the yard, but I make sure they eat it all before they go in at night. I also clean out the inside of the coop bi-weekly, making...

Thanks for your reply Kimmie! The coop's run is fully enclosed in hardware clothe, including the bottom. So the chickens run around on the wire where its not touching the ground. This has the added benefit of keeping the little ladies from tearing out the roots of where ever the coop is placed.

I will be pulling it with a lawn tractor once the ground isn't so squishy from all the rain and snow we've been getting. It's not to difficult to move if the ground is firm, but most of the ground in my yard is sandy and soft, so I may need to put boards down to run then tires over. (At least...

Hi and thanks for your comments! I actually do have ventilation all the way across the front and back of the coop. Here are some pictures: I also have access to the bottom of the run, if you look in this pic, you can see the 4 wing nuts that you remove to take off the panel and get...
