I made a horrible judgment call! Do I continue the Hatch?

8 Sorry to hear you were taken advantage of too. How do you verify what your getting in situations like this? It makes me angry. I don't know if the seller thought I was stupid or what. I'll never pay that much for hatching eggs again.

I made a horrible judgment call! Do I continue the Hatch?

THE BABIES I'M KEEPING. Since I was lied to and taken advantage of by a fellow poultry lover and put in this situation I would rather you all not to think I'm heartless but neither DH or I eat eggs and we don't butcher chickens but we enjoy having chickens on the property so we researched and...

I made a horrible judgment call! Do I continue the Hatch?

They are still zipping . I'm not killing anything. I didn't kill any of them. I didn't throw them away! I was lied to about the breed and asked for advice. Someone messaged me and told me they would unplug the incubator. This disturbed me so I only asked you people for advice wither or not...

I made a horrible judgment call! Do I continue the Hatch?

Thank you eggbert420 & amylynn2374 for standing up for me. I don't understand why people think I'm awful for finding homes for them. I'm just a year in to chicken ownership and I'm still learning the ropes. I don't understand why my thinking about possibly just stopping the incubation caught...

I made a horrible judgment call! Do I continue the Hatch?

These are what they look like... Sorry the photos are bad. I had to go way down on MP to load them. Several people I know are already in love with them so they'll be going to new homes in a few days. I'm keeping these two, Mama's first babies. Might try for Serama in the near future. Still...

This is what I have so far. 2 beautiful silver, single comb, 5 toes feathered legs, dark legs with yellow soled feet. 3 dark gray, single comb, 4 toes feathered legs. Entire leg and feet dark. 6 more pipping as I write. I don't think I have Serama at this point. I have Silkie crosses...

Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

Again I know it's a bad photo but I have a question about comb and wattle development in Japanese bantams. Initially I thought I had it all figured out I had little red combs on 2 & 3 week olds. Now the black one in the photo above has no comb or Wattle development is crowing. Will be 8 weeks...

Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

I think this little one is a cockerel. He's tiny compared to the rest. Only one female is smaller. I was wondering if you all could confirm my suspicion . 8 WEEKS ON 4-7-17 Note he's supposed to be a "gray" Japanese.
