    Open wound/ infection

This is well below the vent. Could have been from a scratch or rubbing. No oder. She's acting fine, drinking and eating. I didn't catch what attacked her but my other chicken is missing so I'm assuming something got her. No maggots.

    Open wound/ infection

My chickens butt is swollen and red. It doesn't feel like an egg its soft and fluid filled. She was attacked and the wound looks like its now infected. Is there something I can put on it to fix her or is this a situation for culling ?

    Silkies and Ameraucana

So the run is 15 feet long by two feet wide. I was told they were all ameraucanas. I'm pretty sure they are all hens. There's two silkie hens and one silkie rooster who we have to rehome him. They free range at times with me and then stay in their run when I'm not home
