Mine are rather picky on scraps too. They love cucumbers cut in half and will eat down to the skin and fresh corn on the cob. Most greens they ignore! And they love meat scraps
I begin letting chickens free-range a few months ago. I watched my dogs really close but didn't need to. One peck on the nose was all it took, now the dogs and chickens get along fine. the cats tried stalking the birds but my 2 guineas took care of them.

Now you scared me.
I have a very large yard and I let them free-range. When I give treats I learned to give to one group first then to the rest in a different location.
I also keep several water dishes scattered around and a couple of feeding stations
What else would you recommend?
My 2 guineas run with the chickens day and night. One male one female
They are 18 weeks old and my little 8 chicken coop is rather crowded at night.
I have a good sized run attached and added a 3 nesting box into the run.
My original thought was to let they stay in the coop until they are big...
I also had 2 pullets given to me that came from the same background, The first night I had to put them into the coop but they quickly figured it out. They would eat out of the feeders but would not scratch. They would not even eat meal worms. wouldn't fly either.
It didn't take long for them...
My little Rita has a crooked neck. She walks fine and has no problem eating. It just that her neck has a 90 degree turn to the right.
Dum me... I didn't do any research until this last week :hit Rita is 15 weeks old and I could have helped her a lot sooner.
I bought everything recommended...
