I'm interested in blue buff columbians. On another thread, you said to cross the buff columbian with a splash. I'm curious why a splash instead of a blue. Will a blue work as well/the same? Thank you.

I suspect most of your birds are from hatcheries. If so, it would be good to know which one has the friendlier breeds of certain ones. A pattern may present itself.
Blue Raptor, Thank You. So it's probably better to keep them separated, if possible, until they get a little use to each other. This tells me I best get what I hope to keep and breed and not buy here and there and add to the flock.
