The comb is alot smaller and paler than chick D. Will have to let them mature a little longer I suppose :)

I have six mystery backyard chicks, I do know there is some jersey giant and americauna in there Maybe.. this is one I thought was a hen, she is 3 weeks old, and her feathers are acting like a hen but she is getting a larger comb. What do you think?

I need some chicken advise! My almost 2 month old buff orpington x light sussex hens have blueish feet, and They've slowly darkened since being chicks. Does this mean they have some easter egger in them? Or is this common for their breed mix? They are healthy looking feet so I don't think...

I didn't see the parents, But after hearing what you said im sure they are light sussex like the person said. I was just not expecting the black streaks:)

Hello fellow chicken lovers! I have purchased two day old sexed female chicks. I was told the roo was a buff orpington and the hen was a light sussex, but I noticed they have a black streak on their heads so now im thinking maybe they are crossed with delaware instead of sussex, im not sure...
