This rooster’s sire is Grey x Red Junglefowl and his mother is a Huastec. He’s a total spaz and flips out every time someone he doesn’t know comes near his coop. The hen next to him is his daughter.
Not a breed, but I’m on generation 3 of a blue layer project based off of what are quite possibly the two most unlikely breeds imaginable: White Laced Red Cornish and Hmong. This cross tends to be super friendly and they’re remarkably (and unexpectedly) good layers.

I’m doing Hmong x Cornish right now, and what I’m finding is that if you cross a big, tall Hmong rooster with a well-muscled Cornish hen, the offspring will tend to be the overall size, build and ample dark meat of a Hmong, but with a heavier build from the Cornish side.
Only if it’s a dominant male rooster and a son who has been with him since he was a tiny chick, or brothers that have been together since hatch day. My dominant Hmong cock won’t tolerate any other roosters under other circumstances. He will kill them.
