How to cull a rooster when you don't want too?

If your options are killing or selling maybe comprimise and give him away for free. Dont forget contact your local 4h club, ask to talk to the poultry leader, a silkie rooster is more likely tobe welcome there. Good luck, you have options think outside the coop. 😆

How to cull a rooster when you don't want too?

This is a great solution, boys get along great when there are no girls. Then put up adds for free roosters and eventually someone will come looking. It took me months to get rid of my roosters but they went to a good home so worth it.

Do I have enough space? What are yalls thoughts?

I have had good luck with the sneaking in at night with new chickens and treat method. But if have the ability separate coops for a bit then let everyone free range to get to know each other for a few days, the newbies often just start going to bed with the flock

Do I have enough space? What are yalls thoughts?

Chickens don't tend spend alot of time indoors and when they do they are usually sleeping so I think youll be fine, if you aren't in an extreme climate. If it seems crowded you can always do nesting boxes outside. Be sure the coop has good ventilation though.
