    Thank you, to all the responds. Columbus Ohio Health Department makes the rules.... No contact to dirt in the coop or run. Free run is limited to 4 hours per day. Coop and run size limited to 64 sq ft. No Roosters permitted, hens and drakes permitted.

    I have horse matts in my coop. I then covered the floor and two thirds up the walls with a good tarp. Now it's easy to really clean the coop.

    Yes, for permit application they view the coop and the run multiple times. Then they come visit every year and or if someone complains. Renew application every 4 years.
