I believe they are called angel feathers seen them before in ameraucanas most people breed away from it but I don’t think there’s anything in standards about it.

Either move the pen somewhere else or just kill them when you see them all you can really do. People that say don’t kill them have never had a snake problem. I’ve had years where I killed upwards of 20-30 out of one of my pens alone. Once they find the eggs, chicks or small bantams there just...

I just cut the head off and drop it straight down in a 5 gallon bucket for a minute while I get my stuff ready to clean it. Never had any issues but if your doin a lot cones might be better to do multiple at a time

Wow that is a nice sized bird. Sucks when the ones you like don’t work out.

If you like how they look get them, that’s all that matters. I have both, they both eat feed and lay eggs in the end.

Most people just call anything that doesn’t fit a standard that lays a colored egg an EE. Technically yes it’s an ameraucana that doesn’t fit any standard. If you breed a Rhode Island Red to a Rhode Island white it’s just a mixed breed sex link.
