I have a dog crate for broodies, which is mostly used to sit on top of. Also a box for garden furniture pillows which I use to store all the chicken stuff in, that is also great to sit on top of especially as it gets really warm in the sun there. I use a hark sometimes to loosen the earth...

Yeah I hope so too! She is my most social hen, and the leader of the flock. She will often jump up on my shoulder and chat about... Whatever chickens chat about.... While I'm cleaning out their poop or just checking in.

Update: I contacted the avian vet per email, and got some information but still inconclusive. It does not seem like avian flu. It could have been related to blood mites, except her comb should not be looking good. I should stop wetting the pellets and see if her poop still comes out wet...
