I decided to buy from an online hatchery. We ordered four chicks from Mt Healthy. They arrive this week.

I don't know for sure, but someone mentioned that tumors can cause digestive/crop issues. Perhaps she had tumors that pressed on her nerves that stopped her from walking.

She passed away last night 😢 I did feel her abdomen and it wasn't particularly swollen. My gut tells me she probably did have some tumors which caused the sour crop.
