I’d have at least two silkies. Two silkies count as one big chicken after all, right? Chicken maths. I have cochin bantams with big ones and they’re just fine. I don’t know if silkies are more or less the same, so I could be wrong.

She’s getting better and now the problem is she’s broody and it’s so freaking hot that not even the broody jail helps. I’ll take a picture of her beak when I can. it still looks fragile, but I think she’ll be alright. It’s such a relief!

Thank you! I’m not sure if I can do the tube thing. I’ll try to drip fuids and try to make her drink that way. I suppose it’s a good idea to give her water with sugar? At least that way she can get some energy besides water.
