I used a bag of Dumor chick feed when my other brand was sold out and the chicks were pooping that same foul smelling chocolate poop for every poop! Cecal poop isn’t usually ever poop. I never used Dumor again and after a few days my feed store had my regular brand and I switched and the poop...
Yeah Im not sure I will ever order from my pet chicken again… I ordered 11 chicks, 8 salmon Faverolles and 3 Americaunas. 3 of the SF died with in 48 hours and one has a chronic eye issue that was present from day 1. The Americauna’s one turned out to be a roo and one died suddenly 4 weeks...

I have been studying some basic chicken genetics but I’m stumped on this combo…
What would offspring look like from a splash Ameracauna roo (yes he’s a TRUE AM not an EE) crossed with a Salmon Faverolles hen? Also, I have some hens that are more salmon/mahogany and some that are more creamy...
Well silkies are definitely hard to tell the gender. The only true way to know is if they lay an egg or crow. But in my experience with silkies (little over a year) her puff on her head and her tail feathers look right for a pullet. Also her comb is female looking as well. However, I had a black...
