    Thoughts on this incubator

Hello, No problem! Here are my answers: 1. How do you like the incubator? The MaricoopX incubator is my first incubator purchased. I do not have any experience with other brands. I purchased this brand based solely on reviews and ease of use and clean up. The incubator is easy to set up...

    Thoughts on this incubator

Dry hatching here. We have 1 more day and 4 eggs already hatched last night. Mine appears to be the newer and bigger version of the Kebonnex. Based on my first try at incubating, this is so far the easiest to set. I’m seeing 4 more eggs pipping. I’ll keep you updated on the total hatch.

Incubator indecision Hovabator 2370 or Kebonnixs 12

Thank you! I just purchased the MATICOOPX 30 Egg Incubator from Amazon for $139, a couple of hours ago. I should receive it in 2 days. It looks like a newer and larger version of the Kebonnixs 12. Hopefully, the Maticoopx 30 will have a high hatch rate like the Kebonnixs 12.

Mypetchicken? Worth buying? Quality show stock?

I ordered 18 chicks from MPC and all are almost 5 weeks old and thriving. I have mix of Lavender Orpington, Blue Fauvacana, Blue Birchen Copper Maran, Salmon Faverolles. One of the Faverolles male had a left eye issue. I believe it was injured by a piece of bedding during shipping. They told...

    Florida cold snap!

We let our sub adult/adult chickens stay in their enclosure with no changes to their coops(except for the Bantam coop in which I used felt to cover the screen openings). The only major changes I made were for my 4-6 week old chickens in their hanging transitional cages. I draped felt all over...

Hello y’all! From Winter Haven, Florida!

I’m excited to be a part of this community! I’ve been around poultry almost all my life. We have, at the moment, 56 chickens, ranging from Bantams and regular sized chickens. 13 Bantams (5 mons)consist of the Cochin breeds and three silkies. We have 7 regular adult chickens (8-9 mons)...
