Thank you for the response. I ordered some vitamins and Ivermectin, took about a week and a half for post to get it to me. During that time the birds all bounced back on their own… the only thing I changed was feeding dry instead of fermented. I now suspect that there was likely mold...- Berd Man

Yea that’s what I was afraid of. I imagine the lilac will be just a lighter buff type of down. I did find a photo of a blue Sebastopol female in downy phase, so maybe I’ll be able to tell the regular blues. -

Okay, thank you for your input. This makes sense. I will start by providing the calcium free choice, if that doesn’t help I will search for a gamebird layer formula. I may have to switch feeds altogether as the mill I buy from currently only offers 28% protein or 22% protein turkey food. -

They’re all different varieties. I have a pair that is painted, the trio is semi pencilled calico, and the Tom with four hens are Narragansett/Golden Narragansett. Could the 22% be negatively impacting the egg production of the Narragansetts while having no effect on the other two groups? As... -

I am thinking one of my turkeys has a bumble sore in between toes. I’ve not yet had a bird with bumble foot… I have read soaking with epsom salt and removing the plug and then wrapping the foot sometimes helps… I don’t think I can wrap this as it’s in between the toes. Anyone more experienced... -

How much should I sell poults for
Depends on what variety they are and your local market. I just sold a pair of 12 week old poults in southern Indiana for $60 each. Try like $30-$40 and if no takers after a week come down $10 -
