My first Legbars years ago were a nice size, so much bigger then these. I have to say, if they do not get some size to them over the winter they will have to go. They are just too small to me.
Hi guys!! Who has Rees Legbars? I have someone questions. Well, really one. Are they small? My flock of Rees Legbars are around 7 months old and small!!!! This is my rooster and that is a blue cooper marans hen standing behind him. He is small. Aren't they suppose to be bigger?
These are my babies. Love this color. I've also recently added 3 more pullets from another breeder! The amazing thing is both these girls started laying at 5.5 months.
They are here and made it this time!! My Jill Rees Legbars are finally here. I'm looking forward to watching these guys grow up. When they settle in, I'll try to get pictures of them.

I would say both the Marans and Cemani need a lot of work. The bad part I see about the Cemani is the small amount of eggs they lay a year. I see them more a novelty and that's it. You can't do much with just 60 eggs a year.
