Any ideas in Peaches coloring? Breeder said buff partridge. Her feathers have barring in the orange crest and neck as well as the greyer feathers. Almost like a cuckoo look but I'm not sure

Silkies are generally super hard to sex but with a comb that big at 5 weeks I'd feel pretty confident saying cockerel

21 adults, 12 nearly coop ready, 4 almost off heat, just hatched 8 under broody hen and and 4 due to hatch in <2 weeks. So I doubled our flock this year if they all stay 😅 My husband may make me sleep in the coop if he does the math 🤣

This is how I'm leaning as well (or at least hopeful for 🤞) The 2 hardest to tell and but I love them so I obsess every year for months 🤭 Last year I got 6 silkies and 5 were roos 🙃

That's the problem I have as well! I think well it looks like streamers on all which makes me think I'm overthinking it 🤣 I will say, what I think I'm seeing as streamers are nothing like what my older white roo or Joe Dirt have, theirs are much more distinct and twice as long.

Here are the black silkies. I have absolutely no clue on these. Also 11 weeks, hatched from the same clutch as Ysma & the white silkies. Their names are Raven & Onyx, and they are more aggressive than my white silkie pair

The white one here is so far a Hen lol so she's renamed Opal. My other white silkie now appears roo and was renamed Kronk. The white ones and the frizzle I think I figured out but my 2 black ones I have no clues yet 🙃 opal in thr front and Kronk in the back
