My scissor/cross beak recently discovered she LOVES mashed potatoes! Just some leftover from our dinner- instant with butter and ranch powder. I’ve tried so many different feeds, mashes, etc and I’m happy to see her eating! She’s smaller than the rest of the flock, so I’d like to continue...

I just had our spa day, and trimmed their feathers around their eyes and the beak of the scissor. Here’s pics of their faces.

Haha. It’s my first flock. They sound much different then my one female of another breed (Rhode Island White…I think). I just got my first egg from her the other day. So I’m learning. 🤦🏻‍♀️😛

Still no clue on gender. Any advice? No eggs yet. 20 weeks old. Two are kinda crowing, one is a sweet scissor beak.
