I clean once a week. But I only have 3 chickens and they free range during the day, so there is typically very little to clean. I am currently building a larger coop and I plan to use discarded feed bags under the roosts to help with cleaning, but I probably will still only clean once a week.

My pet peeve? Well, when I was working (I'm retired now), it drove me crazy when people were consistently late for work. You know when the day starts. Aside for a random traffic jam, there is no reason you can't be there on time! I have even changed start times for some consistently late...

Potential chickie mom here. We're researching coops and I'm wondering how you make sure yours doesn't fly away in a storm. I get that they are heavy, but do we need to do anything to make sure ours doesn't get blown away?
