My chickens didn't have any heating last year exept for the heat from their stacked poop and hay, and their beautiful feathers all of my 33 birds together made them all able to drink, eat, and ocassonally go out into the snow (I plowed & put staw outside though)! And this was in (-40C ) to -20...

If he's really tired then maybe he would benifit from homemade natural electrolytes made from a; tsp of sea salt - some potassium sorbate (found in salt substatute like some made from veggies0 check -contains potassium sorbate, mixed with 2 cups water and 1/2 cup grandulated sugar. But...
