Not going for looks or anything. Was just wondering if something was wrong with her. I’ve raised up chicks before and never had one this small. The picture doesn’t do it justice. Just curious is all. Thanks for the info.
She is eating fine doesn’t get picked on at all. But I mean she is really small compared to the others. She doesn’t act sick either. I just wanted to know if there was a problem with her genetically?
I have a barred oegb hen that hasn’t grown much but has all her feathers. She was with others chicks that have grown just fine. What might be the problem? She is the little one in the first pick and there is a rooster in the second pick that is the same age. They are 9 weeks old
I put in on July 1st, 13 chicken eggs and 14 turkey eggs. I’m doing a project plan with my chickens so these chicks will be the first generation can’t wait to see how they come out. Turkey are also a bronze crossed with a bourbon red.
Sadly yes, I would throw them out. If you could get some chicks it would be good otherwise just let them get the broody out of them and maybe they will hatch off the next batch
