    Puffy eyes and bubbles

So the state people would have to come to my house? I’m not sure if I’ll do the testing, as quarantine seems harsh (the not adding new birds, ofc I will not be giving away birds if they have MG). Also I’m still wondering if the antibiotics are nessicary if they don’t seem to be hurt by the symptoms?

    Puffy eyes and bubbles

I did some digging, and it is unclear if they only test this for NPIP certification for show people and breeders?

    Puffy eyes and bubbles

No sneezing or any other symptoms Oh dang. Is it still okay to sell eggs for eating, if not advertised for hatching? Also is it nessicary to treat symptoms if they don’t seem to be having other problems?

    Puffy eyes and bubbles

That sounds like what I got last year, not a big worry and should fade in time. I’m only more concerned b/c the bubbles and the number of them.

    Puffy eyes and bubbles

I noticed a little while ago that a couple of my chickens had a swollen, puffy eye, just one side. Similar thing happened last year, with maybe two or three birds. I made a post here, was told not to worry about it. It passed, they where fine. I figured it might have been mosquito or tick bites...

What do you keep in your dual purpose chicken First-Aid kit?

Definitely the dog crate! I forgot to add this to mine, also saline spray.

What do you keep in your dual purpose chicken First-Aid kit?

All good suggestions here just want to add that blue cote is great for wounds to keep away pecking and help heal. Also electrolytes can be good to have on hand for super hot days, stressed chickens, baby chicks or sick chickens.
