Mine holds the temperature just fine. The problem is there is over 2 degrees difference in the middle vs the outside circle. It’s at 98 where the center is at 101. If I raise the temperature to get the outside area to at least 99.5 then it would make the center 103+ degrees which would kill the...
My room is a constant 72 degrees which is too cool for the incubator. That’s why I have a heating pad under it and that has fixed the problem with the room being too cold per the Nurture Right instructions. I would be way too hot if I kept my house at the temperature they recommend 😂
Yes the hygrometers are calibrated. Setting the incubator on a heating pad on low is a standard procedure I’ve always used in an air conditioned house. You can see YouTube videos where people recommend it and get 100% hatches. Before I started doing the heating pads I was getting terrible hatch...
I have it sitting on a heating pad. The problem is that there is a drastic difference in temp from the middle to the outside perimeter. It holds the temperature fine but if I turn the temperature up to have the outer wall at a safe temperature than the middle is way too high.
Has anyone dealt with the Nurture Right 360 having drastic temperature differences from inner ring to outer ring? My inner ring is 2 degrees warmer than my outer ring and if I adjust it to be what it’s supposed to be temperature wise on the outside than the middle temperature is way too high.
I use this also. It works great. We caught 16 the first night and 10 the second night. We removed the chicken food from the coop and baited the trap with the same food. Worked great.
