they say they have a solar panel - as this runs on 120V A/C but the brick uses very little power and I guess the base system runs on 12 V - so YES - I would power an inverter and leave this at 120V but there is a bunch of ways to get this solar powered.
Presenting a 6 month old Rhode Island Red Rooster - Starlord - Free to a Good Home!
Raised by us from Chick (Approx. 1 week old) My zone does not allow roosters and we were in denial for the last 4 weeks or so as this cutie grew up.
But unfortunately he has found his voice and the neighbor...
it is an outdoor weather rated "Access Point" - basically a Antenna for a WI-FI System. Normally you have a router on your desk with tiny 4 or 5" antenna - this is an outdoor version of that basically
I needed even better wireless coverage in the Coop/Run area. I am a self-confessed "Chicken Stalker" and also I am trying to be a good "Chicken Daddy" and have the auto coop doors which require Wi-Fi working 100%. All things considered I had the outdoor Access Point so why not use it. This is...
I voted for uncovered.

So I wanted to do better as these birds get bigger and first thing I felt was these bars were too narrow and
too low. I added 2 bars up high at first as this is a tiny big box coop. But I am a newbie and the new bars were thin...
I can never let my savages out again! :D until I finish the skirt on the 14' shed. Chicken Momma had a heart attack when one of her girls got out and was hold up under the shed. I heard about that for a few days and have yet to install the $100 skirts I purchased as that is a big job -...
My run which I just built is 10 X 12 or so. It is L shaped as it goes around a tree and is tucked in a corner with lots of shade and uses the existing shadowbox fence for the 2 back walls. I choose to go "El-Natural in terms of the surface. Dirt. it was there before me. I use real tree limbs for...
