For some reason most frizzles sold by hatcheries in the USA are either Cochin or bantam Cochin. Be aware though that only 50% of chicks come out frizzle and the hatchery can’t tell when they’re shipped out so there’s a chance you’ll get a straight feathered Cochin. It is marker, the hatchery did that to indicate that they are Cochin frizzles :)

Thank you for the welcome! Here is some pics of my flock, I also have 13 new chicks for this year, consisting of some frizzles, 2 colors of old English and some brahmas, all bantam as well.

An update incase anyone experiences something similar, I finally got the call at 5:15 pm after the PO closed. Two chicks were dead, they had been crushed by the heat pack in transit. The rest are ok but two in particular look very weak. Fingers crossed they pull through the night
