I’ve noticed that my turkey’s neck has green sludgy stuff on it, and it’s attracting fly’s on his neck. I don’t know what it is or how to get rid of it. I don’t want the flys to lay eggs or something on his neck😩what do y’all think it is? How do I get rid of it? TIA

Thanks for the reply! I am raising rabbits for meat so it’s not to big of a deal, I just didn’t know any better at the time. I am still learning about New Zealand’s ( I have raised only lion heads up to this point )

I’m thinking about getting quail and I’ve heard that grown quail need 24% to 26% protein. The highest protein percentage of game bird feed here is 17%. But there is meat bird food that is 24% protein can they eat that? I don’t to harm them by giving them the wrong feed. Is that a suitable food...

I don’t know why it auto corrected me😂 the highs are about 64. And the lows are like 37. if I put a tarp over the wire so the wind can get in will it be warm enoug?
