i'm new to chicken keeping and decided to get fertilized eggs from my neighbor... i candled them on day 4 and all of them show no signs of life...why? :idunno

I put in 3 eggs into my incubator,and the next day i decided to put in 4 more,and now i'm confused on which day to stop turning:(... because the 3 eggs are 18 days old and the rest are 17 days...PLEASE HELP!! thanks!
