If it can get it head through the hole it can squeeze through. But I'm not sure about a 2x4 hole? I have lost some from being pulled through the wire. Make sure the roost is not to close to the wire. I would leave at least 18 inches.
Hey Casey, glad to see your back with lots of pictures. The pullet is beautiful!!! I am having the same foot problem with some of my mottles. I don't understand either because the parents have good foot color. Awesome birds as always.

Well I guess I'll stop complaining about a little mud in my chicken coops. At least all this rain is keeping the temp down. I hope all your birds make it through the heatwave.

Such beautiful Cochins! I recently bought some Brown reds and a Lemon Blue cockerel. The pullets were laying so I put the eggs under a broody mottled Cochin. I have my first 2 baby brown reds. I have have eggs from the Lemon blue over a brown red pullet in the incubator. Sorry, no pictures yet...
So sorry for you loss. I know how you feel. Two months ago I had to take my wife to the emergency room. I was in a hurry and my Royal palms didn't want go in the coop. When we arrived home at 3 am, they we dead. I think it was a bobcat. That was a really bad night.

I purchased 2 pair of black bantam's last week from a gentleman in Texas. I didn't ask permission to use his name, so I won't. I'm really happy with them and wanted to show them off. He said they are about 6 to 7 months old. They didn't want to cooperated. These are the best two pictures out of...
Wanting quality brown red or lemon blue bantam Cochin's. Pairs or trios. Depends on what you have and how much you want for them? Please PM pictures and prices. I understand that quality birds are not cheap. Willing to pay the price.
Thanks ,Charlie
