    Chicken Ostracized Update

I have a friend that talked to an older gentleman that raises chickens. The supposed comment was to add another rooster. Take it for what's it's worth. (shrug)

What am I doing wrong? What do I need to change?

    Rusty watering Can

The waterer most likely has a galvanized (toxic) coating to make it last longer. If it's rusty on the inside, it is probably not safe for your chickens to drink from.

    I made a mistake !!!

    Water Freezing

If any wild birds have H5N1, it could contaminate your rain barrel.

    Rain water collection

Actually... It's algae... not mold or mildew. Keep the barrels out of the sunlight, and use a barrel pump for dispensing smaller amounts of water.
