For sale 6+ what ever I get on Friday. These eggs are from my black/blue pen and my wheaten/blue wheaten pen. I have a black rooster from Wayne Meredith on 3 black hens and 1 blue hen also from Wayne. In my wheaten pen I have a Wheaten rooster from Paul Smith on 4 blue wheaten hens from Wayne...
When the chicks start to hatch wait to open it until they have hatch. If you open the top before all the eggs hatch you can get shrink wrap on the unhatched eggs. This is when the eggs that are peep out but not hatch will get the membrane stuck to the chick.
When I add water i open the top and put it in using a turkey syringe I cut the tip off and I put in what is need. When I go into lock down I use a straw to put it in .
I just fill the trays and when they are empty I fill them again. I have try to keep they fill all the the time and ended up not have enough evaporation. Think of it as a hen on them. She will get up and the humidity will go down the only big concern is to keep water in them and have them full...

At 12:32am on the 19th of Oct 2011 the first Silver Phx was born on RKR Poultry Farms. We have 4 more that are peek and are waiting on the rest to hatch of the 48 eggs. This is our first hatch of the fall. It will be a long night.
Will it is day 20 and got up to a Silver Phx peep. It is going to be a long day. Got to get 19 chickens ready for our state fair and wait on the chicks to come.
Just lock down 49 eggs of the 66 that we set. Looking forward to the next batch. Hope to see a bunch of chicks on wed.
