    Can a chicken lay more than one egg a day?

    Apparently one of my bantams layed two, 4 chickens and 5 eggs today. I'm sure noeggs were missed yesteday when collecting either. We have two Wynadottes, one Rhode Is Rd, and one Cochin and they all just started laying.

    I have a Rhode Island Red chick that is feathering out just like yours- the other of the same breed is normal like the others. I am guessing mine is a rooster, it certainly has the attidude. I would love to know what yours turned out to be or if you figured out what, if anything is wrong.
