I hope you feel better soon. Garlic is a good one for while your sick. Slice up a clove and eat it with saltine crackers (they take away the bite of the garlic). We all eat garlic when we get sick and it really knocks it out.

My brother in law has a pair of them that live together, no problems. Male and female. They're rather large. I don't know if maybe they're not mature yet or what but they don't have issues at all.

I thought everyone would like a Mira update. Her feathers are starting to grow back in certain spots and she's competely integrated back into the flock. She's such a strong little girl :)

I would put him down, I have no need for a RIR roo. BUT, he's my son's bird. He was supposed to be a pullet but unfortunately isn't :/ Lol, I was expecting laughter. But seriously, he is a problem bird.

Have any of you ever dealt with a pedophile rooster before? I have 1 RIR roo that has young taste and will jump my young pullets. He's full grown and likes to get pullets before they even have their grown up voices yet. Any suggestions to curb his cravings? It's not like there aren't plenty of...

Ch@Chicken hawk 33 Oscars are big, beautiful fish but they do need a lot of space to move. They can live well with most cichlids from what i understand. Hers my tank, 55 gallon. It has 1 large Jack dempsey cichlid, 1 oscar, and (call us crazy) 3 young piranhas. All the small fish in there are...

I make my own mayo occasionally. I whip it in the blender and just dribble the oil through an opening in the top. It works great :)

X2,i absolutely adore my turkeys! My first group i handled all the time but my second group not quite as much. Most of them are very affectionate. I have 2 hens that love to be held and cuddled (one comes in for a hug every time you squat down and open your arms). And two toms who want snuggled...

Hold them and spend a much time with them as possible. As goofy as this sounds, I used to lay a towel on my bed and every evening before going to sleep, I would get them out and they would snuggle up in bed with me for a good half hour or so before I put them back in the brooder lol

Thank you, I'll go dose him up now than. He's not going to be happy. He's already mad at me for holding him down and taking care of his legs but they look much better now though the scales are still sticking out all weird. I know that takes a while to correct. I had to cut the poor guys nails...
