I took some thin foam, cut about a quarter of an inch strips, taped into a ring and sat around bantam eggs. Could work for quail if you get the right thickness?

Same here, I don't have a chocolate rooster, so I gave her OEGBs that I want. But I do have shipped eggs in the bator and gave my other chocolate 4 of them, so I'll probably have an abundance of roosters in 2 weeks! :D

What kind of hen is that? And the chicks? I have a chocolate orpington that hatched some OEGBs for me. I had to look twice at your pic! Lol

:highfive: It was just a thought, because I have a piece of foam wrapped around my flashlight with a hole cut in it. Sometimes when I circle air cells with my sharpie, I will get some on the foam, then I see a smudge on the egg and thing w t h! So maybe that's all it is.... I hope yours is...
