252 chicks hatched over the weekend! I moved some of the older chicks out to tractors on grass. Nothing looks more contented that a young chicken stretched out in the grass, casually pecking at bits of greenery. If they could talk I imagine them saying "Ahhhh, this is the life!"

206 chicks out of the incubator !! Not many more left in there, just a few late bloomers.

Having a record hatch this weekend. 191 out of the incubators so far, a few more still in there. Looks like I will break 200 easily. Yes, yes, I am a bit insane, but I'm sure to find understanding here.

This week's hatch is starting ! So far I see some Welsummers (they are usually last to hatch, so this is exciting), a midget white turkey, some blue and black Ameraucanas, and a bunch of my Rhodebar x Bielefelders. I also set 394 eggs tonight. Gotta keep those incubators full!
