aww good doggie happy in crate, what kind of dog? sometimes I do the same thing i crate y dog too early and shes in there for a long time but she likes it so its ok. its her 'safe spot' she is a mountain cur. and very good with my ducks and chickens, since she was raised with them from puppyhood.
