That would be a strange and scary thing to have happen!
Thank you for all of your kind words. :hugs I think I've been very fortunate so far...lol.
I always have room for improvement...lol. :D
I agree with you completely about the respecting the semis part. My entire family drive semis as well, both sides actually, and I am legal to drive everything except a semi with a fifth wheel. Our grain truck is a semi-converted to a box and I am legal to drive it. The majority of the public do...
Lol...trust me, being a bus driver was the last thing I ever thought I'd do! I've never been particularly good with children. It just happened to be a job I could do while still farming. I've really loved it, more than I ever could have imagined. The kids have been the easy part. Spare driving...
Thankfully it was so few students. It's really unfortunate that it happened. Have you heard how everyone has made out?
Hair or ears pulled?? Sounds like in my time. :p My bus driver had a stick. Never used it. He had a pretty crisp voice and looked scary all the time. None of that is allowed...
Fun information:
Dh's uncle and aunt have a place in the city so they haven't been using much water on their farm. We didn't get much snow for insulation...so the frost went that deep into the ground and froze their underground pipes!!! Wow, who knew? That's a first for any of us. Those pipes...
An enforcer? Ooooh, now I'm curious...what's that? :pop
I can believe that they probably have quite the stories to tell. I've been a bus driver for 12 years now; fulltime, spare and for trips. OMG that makes me feel old. :th
I loved being a full-time driver, trips were only as good as the...
What a strange coincidence to check this thread just when buses are being discussed...lol.
There are several reasons buses aren't equipped with seat belts. The top reason we've been told is the ability to get students off in a crisis. Two is knowing it would be extremely difficult to enforce...
Envious! Mine start the week before the local small animal and bird sale. Like clockwork every year. Make me laugh because that has saved a number of the females. :gig
Is everyone ready for spring? Here it's thawing. :yesss:
Well, we didn't really get much snow in the first place. Most of the ground is already pretty bare.
I think the temptation of that tasty looking cake would be too much for any animal. And probably most humans too! Only the strongest could resist that cake. :p :bow
I have a cull rooster name Ope. (I just called him Opi, momentary lapse or not enough coffee, I'm not sure) Very similar!
My Dh calls him Opi-One-Kenopi!:lau
