Stop making me want a cat!! The rodent population is unreal around here. One thing I learned about cats recently... they’re not all mousers (but clearly yours are). I didn’t realize this until I looked into getting a few barn cats.
On a side note... the drawback of making a coop too tight...
Good morning! Has anyone spotted ticks yet?! I’m hoping to get a dent in yard work before the suckers get too bad. So much thick brush and garbage to clean up. I swear the previous owner did not pay for garbage service and dumped it in the back woods. Soup cans and yogurt cups for days!
Clearly you are more educated than I on this subject! Just after snapped straight line winds, debris flying, porta potties tipping over, trees bending and rain. All of that followed by hail. Whatever that indicates lol

Thanks anyhow! I'm afraid the really young (I believe they are called keet) won't last long here at all. Any other suggestions on controlling the ticks... besides hens and keeping grass/shrubs trimmed... I'm all ears!
Absolutely horrible! I recently moved into an old farmhouse on acreage which has been neglected for 20-plus years and everything is severely overgrown. A tick on me just about every time I go outside is a little much! I hope I get normal ones as well LOL thanks for the heads up
