Finally..final numbers for me is 6 out of 14 ...I can,t believe it went so well with my learning curve. So many problems. Am looking forward to trying again soon. Last one out at 6:38 pm today......yes
not sure of the last day for the Hal but as of this afternoon I have 5 out of 14 and still two zipping. What is the last day.. I set all the eggs at the same time but had trouble with heat and humidity.
Still waiting. Two more pips and one zip. Still moving. The two that hatched yesterday afternoon are in broader. They were just too rowdy in the batter.
Well it is 8:30 pm and lights out for the night. Two out running around, one zipping, four pips. Will check in the morning. Hoping all are finished..Really quite happy about progress for the first time trying.
I actually have two pips. Can hardly believe it. Thought for sure that l would not have any. Hope they get out of the shell ok. Only12 more to go. On day 21......
Got to get out. Not going to touch#####
on day 21 as of noon today. So far no movement. 14 eggs just sitting there..I guess I will give them until Wednesday, if nothing happens I will try again. Maybe second time will be better, had a lot of issues this first time learning what to do..
I have a similar incubator.hot air fan, turning trays. I am afraid to candle, may break something..can I just let everything go and do the lockdown on day 18, take them out of the tray and add water to bring up the humidity...Will it be a big problem if I have some bad ones and leave them in...
still having trouble with the humidity.. emptied the water the best that I could.. holding at 70. put in a humidity thermometer and it is reading the same. will keep opening the lid once in a while for a short time to release the moisture. on day 5 now. live in Ohio. lot of rain lately, maybe...
Ok, I have suctioned out water, will watch humidity closer and add more in one well if needed... Thanks for your help. This is my first try and I did not know not to fill all wells. Hope I did not hurt all the eggs.
