So I had 3 marked for this weekend. I had 2 yesterday & one this morning! The one that pipped but died in shell upside down was marked for Tuesday. So, for the 3 set for this weekend, I had 3 hatch! I officially love this R•Com.

This guy was run over a lot & stopped after struggling for so long. He was the first that pipped. He looks like he was upside down :(

3 were due Sunday, Roommate came home to two out & two pipped/zipped. So, one little guy is early by 2 days!

I love this! I'm going to have to see what colors I can make now! I read that you can flip them & pull back on the tail slightly to tell if they're male by a "foam" production from the vent. That helped me find that I have 2 males but I figured they were by that funny crow they do I just love...

I'm not sure, I just got them a couple of weeks ago. I am guessing these tan are coturnix but I'm not sure what the others are or if they are coturnix also.

So, I know I'm waaaay late. I got my new incubator about 3 weeks ago & decided to toss in 3 eggs from the little quail I got off of Craigslist earlier that day. The screen says I have 3 days left... The other eggs have been added since. I think I'm doing that staggering thing now...
