I've heard of some local fires started by heat lamps as well, it's pretty scary.
Mine will probably end up in the garage, I'm hoping it's not too cold for them. But if I do have any early hatchers I might give them to my broody who has been sitting for over three weeks.
It's not technically day 19 yet and I hear cheeping!
I hope they slow down a little, I don't have the brooder set up yet and the heating pad I ordered for them won't be here until Tomorrow. I really don't want to get the heat lamp out
Going into lockdown tomorrow! I've been candling a few eggs here and there, I think everyone in the remaining 40 are looking good(aside from the olive eggs, can't see inside of them...)
Although I do have one that looks a few days behind the others but it was rather lively last night
So it's day 10 over here and I just candled, from the looks of it out of 42 I've got 2 early quitters, everyone else is still kicking! I love watching them move, and my two white eggs are amazing to see with their clarity
