    Day 14 Down to 13 Choc Am eggs and 21 of the Orp and Barnevelder eggs. I'm having to drop the humidity some, the aircells are smaller than I want them. I'm keeping it at 18% for now, since they grew really slowly when I had it steady at 35%.

    You can isolate each hen and incubate only her eggs and track which one has silkied babies. You're welcome!

    Silkied is recessive I believe. So you can have birds who are carriers but don't express the silkie feather type.

    My bator is loaded! day 4 now! There is life in most of my chocolate Ameraucana eggs and some hint of life in the Orp and Barnie eggs, but they are darker shelled so I with hold judgment on them.
