I am looking to expand our flock and would rather buy local then from a hatchery. I am looking for Orpingtons (all colors), Marans (all colors), and EE's. Please let me know if you have any, price, and location. I am near Bowling Green KY.
I am looking for Orpingtons in all colors to add to our egg flock. We love having the different hens in there and that breed seems to be my wife's favorite. Also would like to add a couple Marans to the flock as well. I am near Park City so please hit me up and let me know what you have.
It all depends on the weather if I am going or not. If it rains alot the night before I probably will be there since my daughters T-ball will be canceled.

I have a Blue Rooster over one Blue and one Black hen.
Then I'd bet it's the blue hen's egg and you've got a splash chick there.
Thanks for the help. I am use to silkies so this lil Orp threw me for a loop.
I have a question about this Orp chick. I have a trio of BB Orps and this is just the third chick I have hatched. It's two sister look like their parents when they hatched but this one is not. I am so hoping it is a Lav but I am not for sure.
On the third Saturday of every month Tim and Susie's Henhouse has a swap as well. The turn out is always good and they only charge 10% commission. I didn't get to go this past one because of work but I had really good luck in Feb. and they had alot to chose from. Ms. turbo you need to come...
I just had to show this off. I had a pretty decnt day when it came to getting eggs. I found about a dozen but when they were all in the basket they just looked to funny. Here are the differant ones laid out. A Silkie, Orp, Turkey, and Goose.

LOL.....that would be next on the list.....that and another stackable brooder. We are ok now with just the Wyandottes laying, but when the call ducks, runners, silkies, and Sebastopols are in full production we...

My friend and I checked it out before we went to T&S..there were 4 people set up..not 10 birds between them and no lookers except us.
It was pretty sad. The guy I talked to from there previously said that he already had 18 spots sold...what happened to the other 14??
I knew a few of us...
