Yes, but not being an accepted color, they cant go any further than best of variety i dont think. I am showing the variety to get the history of showing them established. Mr. Russell mentioned possibly in the future making an effort to get the color accepted if enough breeders are...

I hatched her. She is my 1st generation from birds i got from Craig Russell.

To be honest, i am not sure. The total birds entered in show was 747. I was clerking for the other judge and didnt watch the English being judged. No other Dorkings were there but my 3 red pullets and 2 red pyles males. Show runs all week, I will see if I can get more numbers next time I go.

Entered some Dorkings in the Lebanon County Fair (PA). Got Reserve CH English with this Red Dorking Pullet, Tom Roebuck judging. APA/ABA sanctioned show. Super excited. :)

I forgot to mention, top prize in the show is $250. There will be money for Best of Breed Dorking as well, sponsored by me (no not $250, LOL) I really would love to have a nice display of Dorkings at our show.

Poop, that stinks ki4got! I know about funds issues too. Would like to travel to OHIO Nationals later this year but cost is a big issue.

Hi! Mine are doing well. Of what I hatched I ended up with a red pyle cockerel with better leg length than his father, waiting to see if his pattern is as nice. My pullets are pretty decent some nice reds and some red pyles. Not at POL yet. Glad your girl is doing well!

P.S. I just joined the dorking club. I live in District 4.

Hi my name is Michelle. I've had my Dorkings out at shows in Pennsylvania , Delaware and New Jersey this year. At all but one show (Bloomsburg, PA) I was the only Dorking exhibitor. I did take breed at Bloomsburg wirh a red pullet. I hope to see others at shows soon! Bring those birds out! Michelle

Omg! Thank you soooo much for the laughs! Having a hard time here. Ice storm knocked out power 2 days in so far. The images i got in my head while reading this would have won Americas Funniest Videos hands down!
